I want to sell my home, now what do I do?
Selling your home can seem like a daunting task…but it isn’t! That is where we come in! We can help you answer all of your questions including some of the more frequent questions from homeowners:
What can I get for my home?
How fast will my home sell?
What do I have to do to get my home ready to sell?
How do I keep my noisy neighbors out of my house?
The marketing plan on your home will depend on the home, its location, its features (and/or the building features), health of the HOA (if there is one), and the market at that time. But we can guarantee you a few things…we will create a custom website for your home, include professional quality pictures and a virtual tour, place a For Sale sign with flyer box (if allowed) and of course list it on our MLS and a number of other real estate sites, since about 92% of the buyers look at the internet even before beginning their home searches!
We need to see your home and neighborhood/building before we can answer those important questions however, and then we will provide you with our marketing plan and ideas. Then you can make your decisions. By the way, if we don’t perform up to your expectations, you can replace us anytime.
Note, the internet is a great way to let everyone know that your home is available, along with a for-sale sign. However they may not be right for you at this time. There are some downsides that we will go over with you when we meet with you. We want you to be making an informed decision!
Speaking of making an informed decision, the 2012 National Association of Realtors survey of buyers showed they used multiple sources of information in the process of looking for a home. Far and away the most used sources was the internet (90%) and real estate agents (87%). What was the third most used information source? Yard signs (53%).
Well I have sold two homes while sitting an open house, so yes I believe in open houses. However much of the Realtor community does not. Fifty-six percent of real estate professionals recently surveyed by RISMedia called open houses “pointless,” while 44 percent said they were “powerful” in the marketing of a home. If you want your home in the “powerful” category, consider contacting us.
